Silsila AI runs its AI model on your device, so your conversations are processed locally. The app also records a limited set of anonymous analytics and diagnostics, described below. This policy explains what is and is not collected, and matches the disclosures on the app store listings.
Who maintains the app
Silsila AI is built and maintained by Sayed Ali Alkamel (com.sayedalialkamel.silsilaai on iOS, com.sayedalialkamel.silslaai on Android). Privacy questions can be sent to alkamelsayedali@gmail.com.
Your conversations stay on the device
The language model runs on your phone. Your prompts and the model's replies are generated locally and are not sent to a server operated by the developer to be answered. The app does not require an account and does not sync your chats off the device.
Data the app collects
Like many free apps, Silsila AI includes third-party analytics and advertising components. Through them, the following is collected. None of it is linked to your identity:
- Identifiers: a device identifier.
- Usage data: product interaction, advertising data, and other usage data.
- Diagnostics: crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data.
This data is used for analytics, product personalization, and the developer's advertising and marketing. It is the same set disclosed in the App Store privacy label and the Google Play data safety section.
What is not collected
- No name, email, or contact details are required to use the app.
- No location data.
- Your conversation content is not uploaded to the developer.
Third-party services
The analytics and advertising components are provided by third parties and operate under their own privacy policies. They receive the usage and diagnostic data listed above, not your conversation content.
Children
Silsila AI is rated for ages 17 and over and is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA, including the right to ask what data is associated with you and to request its deletion. Because the data above is not linked to your identity, it cannot be tied back to you individually, but you can contact the developer at any time with a privacy request. You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect in a new app version.
