Does Silsila AI work without an internet connection?
Yes. Once the model has loaded, the chat runs with no network connection. The model ships inside the app, which is why the first load takes a moment and the download is large.
Why is the app download so large?
The language model is bundled inside the app, around 1.4 GB, so it can run fully on your device. There is nothing extra to download after you install it.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone on iOS 17.6 or later, and Android phones. On-device inference is demanding, so a recent device with more memory will feel faster.

Yes. Silsila AI is free to download and use.
