WillItRun is designed to run entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, or transmit personal data of any kind. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Who maintains the app
WillItRun (com.sayedalialkamel.willitrun) is built and maintained by Sayed Ali Alkamel. Questions about privacy can be sent to alkamelsayedali@gmail.com.
Data we collect
None. WillItRun does not collect personal data. Specifically:
- No account creation and no sign in.
- No analytics and no crash reporting.
- No advertising identifiers.
- No location data.
- No contact information.
- No user-generated content synced off your device.
On-device only
All compatibility calculations happen locally on your iPhone. Reading your device's memory ceiling, scoring models, and the context-length math never leave the device.
The GGUF URL analyzer
When you paste a model URL, the app makes an HTTP range request to that URL to read a small amount of file metadata, the first 64 KB. No model weights are downloaded. The URL you paste is never sent to, logged by, or stored on any server operated by the developer.
Third-party SDKs
None. WillItRun does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Children
WillItRun is a utility for developers and enthusiasts and does not target children under 13. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to export, correct, or delete under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws. You may still contact the developer at any time to confirm what data, if any, is associated with you. The answer will be none.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect in a new app version.
