Why does the app show a lower memory number than my device specs?
The operating system reserves a large amount of RAM for itself and other processes. WillItRun shows the allocatable ceiling your app actually gets, which is the number that decides whether a model loads or crashes.
Why is a model marked MARGINAL even though my device has enough total RAM?
Total RAM is not the allocatable budget. At large context windows the KV cache grows quickly and can tip a model over the ceiling, even when total RAM looks like plenty.
How often is the model catalog updated?
The catalog ships with the app and refreshes from a bundled remote manifest. Pull down on the model list to fetch the latest.
How do I analyze a custom GGUF file?
Open the GGUF URL Analyzer and paste any direct link to a .gguf file. The app reads only the first 64 KB of metadata. No model weights are downloaded.
